Tyler Perry opens a 60,000-square-foot production facility in Atlanta.TPS (Tyler Perry Studios) will serve as the main production facility for his various film, theater and television projects. Perry’s syndicated sitcom "House of Payne" and upcoming movie "Daddy's Little Girl" were both filmed at the venue, which will soon make room for an acting school and theater company.
"I'm so excited to have the opportunity to bring this incredible studio to Atlanta," Perry said. "TPS will establish a footprint for increased production of film, television and theater projects in this city. I hope that this is just the start of making Atlanta even more of a movie town."
