Whitney Houston has split from her husband Bobby Brown, Houston's rep, Nancy Seltzer, has confirmed to PEOPLE. "She has filed for divorced from Bobby Brown," says Seltzer. Divorce proceeding are expected to begin next month. "(Whitney) was in L.A. last night with Clive Davis at the Ella awards," which paid tribute to Johnny Davis, Seltzer says. "I have nothing further to add." A Houston friend tells PEOPLE of the singer, "She is doing fabulously well." Houston, 43, and Brown, 39, wed on July 18, 1992. They have one daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 13. Stay tuned for more information.
