Looks like Bee's Oscar hopes are slowly fading . Whispers around Tinseltown is that a certain co-star, (==cough==Jennifer Hudson==cough) is a shoe in for a lead actress nom and now its been announced she won't be recognized as as a songwriter for "Listen," one of the original new tunes added to the original Broadway score. Officially, she's listed as one of the song's four writers, but the Motion-Picture Academy only permits three names — max — as a credit. The Oscars' songwriting branch has decided to qualify Henry Krieger, Anne Preven and Scott Cutler. No explanation is given for why Beyonce is excluded over the others. Hmm could it be that Beyonce insisted her name be added as a songwriter as part of her performance deal? According to her "Hell to the naw" In just about every interview Ms.Bee insist that she was actively involved in the songwriting process. Don't fret Beyonce stans she is still nominated for 2 Golden Globes, for lead actress and original song we'll see if the judges were on some hater-ish when the show airs on NBC on January 14, 2007.
