Baltimore actress Felicia Pearson, who acted in the HBO series "The Wire," has been arrested in Orlando, FL in a prostitution sting. Pearson, 26, was arrested on January 9 when she allegedly sought sex with an undercover policewoman, according to a criminal complaint filed in the Orlando Superior Court."Ms Pearson was arrested for soliciting. I can confirm she was in the car at the time of the arrest," Officer Jason Lee of the Orange County Police Department said. Prosecutors confirmed they had filed two misdemeanour charges against the Baltimore actress: agreeing to engage in an act of prostitution and unlawfully loitering on Orlando's S. Orange Blossom Trail."She was arrested after approaching an undercover officer who was walking the street and offering to perform a sex act," Frank Mateljan of the Orlando Attorney's office. Pearson was the co-star of the 2006 HBO series "The Wire" playing as the character 'Snoop.'She is due to appear in court in Orlando on February 24 to be arraigned on the two charges. She is free on 2,000 dollars bail, according to the City Attorney's office.Pearson's lawyer, celebrity attorney Roy Black, did not immediately return calls for comment on the arrest of the actress.
