YOU DON'T KNOW ME LIKE THAT.......

Way back in '97, Whitney Houston canceled an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell show at the last minute, claiming she was sick. Then she turned around and went on Late Night With David Letterman with her husband Bobby Brown that same night. Rosie was so pissed off, when she hosted the Grammys, she made a crack on national television about Whitney being high. Now you know Nippy didn't like that too much.According to the NYPOST, WHITNEY Houston once told Newsweek that Rosie O'Donnell was a "fat bitch," but the magazine pulled the insult, fearing it would upset the Grammy-winning diva's devotees. In her new book, "Off the Record," veteran Newsweek correspondent Allison Samuels says she got the incendiary quote from Houston after O'Donnell once implied she had substance abuse problems. Samuels writes: "After a few meetings with the top editors at the magazine, we decided not to use [it] . . . since many of Houston's fans did not know that side of her and it was such a demeaning statement. Furthermore, Whitney was clearly not in her right mind."
