The award season has begun. The nominations for 2007 GOLDEN GLOBE were announced today by Rosario Dawson and Black Hollywood was definitely well recognized

Will Smith and Forest Whitaker each picked up Best Actor nods, for The Pursuit of Happyness and The Last King of Scotland, respectively, while Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson each picked Best Supporting Actor/Actress nods for Dreamgirls. Also, Chiwetel Ejiofor has a double nomination, one in the Best Actor (Musical/Comedy) category, for Kinky Boots and in the Best Actor (mini-series) category for, Tsunami, The Aftermath, and his co-star Sophie Okonedo was nominate in the Best Actress Category. Beyonce Knowles, also has two nominations – Best Actress (Musical/Comedy), for Dreamgirls and Best Song (Listen), for Dreamgirls (she is nominated with Henry Krieger, Anne Preven, Scott Cutler).
